Chuck is a well-known and
highly regarded strength and conditioning coach, having
conducted specialized programs for professional and amateur
athletes such as Ken Simonton (the Pac 10's second all-time
leading rusher), Josh McCown, Quarterback Phoenix Cardinals,
James Hodgins, Fullback for Super Bowl Champions St. Louis
Rams and Phoenix Cardinal, Holly Johnson, starting point
guard for Florida State University, and Ekom Udofia, ranked
as the third highest high school recruit along with other
outstanding athletes. In addition Chuck has helped thousands
of people lose weight and get fit.
He is also a motivational
speaker. In addition he presents his original fitness
workouts at Major industry trade shows (IHRSA, Club
Industry) . He as also spear headed fundraising events for
the American Heart Association, Juvenile Diabetes
Foundation, United Way and other charities. In addition
Chuck has managed and operated a local LA Fitness Sport Club
which is one largest fitness center chains in America. Not
only did Chuck manage a 35,000 square foot facility with
over 20 employees and tly spear headed the largest personal
training programs within LA Fitness's facilities in
Ahwatukee.
Chuck is now in the process of opening a new
state of the Art training center (Champions Personal
Training Center)where he will house all his innovative
training programs such as Blast, Airopics just to name a
few. After playing running back for the Indiana Hoosiers in
1986, he graduated with a bachelor of science degree
in physical education. Prior to joining LA Fitness
in the June of 2003, Chuck was the General Manager
of Fischer Sports Marketing, which is a facility
that provides sports and physical therapy to amateur
and professional athletes in Phoenix.
In
the fall of 2002 Chuck heading up an NFL Pre-Combine
Training camp, which is a training program that helps
potential college athletes increase their stock in the NFL
draft. Chuck was also responsible for the expansion of the
sports specific training programs and the addition of the
3,000 square foot training center where he was the project
manager for the project. It was this and the other work
experiences that helped prepare him for opening this Sports
Specific Facility.
Currently, Chuck is the Managing Director of the Fitness For
Lifec Training Center which is a 2,200 square foot personal
training This facility is located in Tempe Arizona and is
set to open in October 2004.
Chuck is an exercise leader and personal trainer by The
American Aerobics and Fitness Association, The American
College of Sports Medicine, American Council on Exercise and
the Universal Institute. He is also certified in CPR and
First Aid.
He has also been a board member of the American Heart
Association and on the exercise science committee at County
College of Morris, Randolph N.J. Chuck also has volunteered
his time to work with young athletes as a strength and
Conditioning Specialist at Jefferson High School in New
Jersey. Chuck is highly cognizant of the needs of the
fitness business in the area of facilities management and
service.
